Directions for Useclickme

PupLights come with an optional two piece adjustable elastic collar, making PupLight products true lighted dog collars. The attachment for the light has a 1 1/4" slot. The light will fit on most standard collars and harnesses. It will not fit on every collar, for instance, extra wide, rounded or studded collars. Most people use the elastic collar because:

  1. It keeps the light focused forward rather than moving when the leash pulls the collar right or left.
  2. It's easy on / easy off so the dog doesn't have to wear the light all the time.
  3. It adds flexibility since you can position the collar higher or lower on the neck. For most dogs, the lighted dog collar should be below the collar attached to the leash. The light should be positioned low enough so it's visible underneath the dog's head when the dog is standing.
  4. The collar should fit snuggly around the dog's neck so that the light doesn't bounce around and bother the dog. The collar is elastic so it's still comfortable relatively tight.

Small Dogsclickme

  1. If PupLight hangs too low on your dog, you can shorten it.
  2. Facing PupLight, remove screw and hex nut. Rotate collar clip 180 degrees.
  3. Put Puplight on top of the collar clip aligning hinges. Reinsert screw in round hole.
  4. Insert hex nut into hex hole. Tighten screw. Attach light to elastic band.

Medium Dogsclickme

PupLight's collar is in two pieces that snap together. If the large size strap is too small for your dog's neck, snap in the second smaller piece. Adjust the collar so it fits snuggly around your dog's neck. Put the PupLight on the doubled up part of the strap. The strap should be in front of the middle part of the attachment. If both pieces snapped together are a little too big, put your finger behind the strap in front of the attachment and pull slightly. This creates a loop that tightens the fit of the lighted dog collar.
